These terms govern your use of Lifiary. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Reflection tool, not medical advice
Lifiary is a journaling and time-reflection tool for informational purposes only. The life horizon is an estimate set and editable by you for reflection; it is not a prediction, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, health recommendation, or medical advice. Do not use the app for emergency decisions.
Minimum age
You must be at least 15 to use Lifiary. If the law where you live does not let you accept these terms independently, a parent or guardian must accept them for you.
Using the app
Use Lifiary lawfully and only through your own account or anonymous identity. Keep access credentials secure. Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, upload unlawful material, impersonate another person, or use the service to harm others.
Your content and our software
You retain rights to your reflections and notes. You give us only the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and display that content to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to add it. Lifiary, its design and software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep Lifiary available and protect stored data, but maintenance, outages and changes can occur. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Features supplied by app stores or external providers are also subject to their terms and availability.
Ending use and deleting your account
You may stop using Lifiary. Deleting your account in Settings removes the account and the data held in the app. Email correspondence and consent records are retained for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy. We may restrict or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, or legal requirement, normally with notice where lawful and practical.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lifiary is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or fitness for every individual purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Apple App Store licence
When you obtain Lifiary from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licence for the app; these service terms govern the Lifiary service and do not replace that standard licence.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Czech law. Courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings in another court available under applicable consumer law.
Out-of-court consumer disputes
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the competent out-of-court body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Central Inspectorate – ADR Department, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, adr@coi.gov.cz, adr.coi.cz. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform stopped accepting complaints on March 20, 2025 and was discontinued on July 20, 2025, so it is no longer an available route.
VAT status
The operator is not registered for VAT.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or law changes. The current version and date will remain published here. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice where required.
